Let’s Celebrate!

Yay, I’ve reached 100 posts!! What a fun milestone for Scrapbook Ideas!

I love learning about scrapbooking, and I’m discovering new things all the time. My goal here at Scrapbook Ideas has been to share what I learn with the the general public, it’s my way of giving back to a community that has given me so much :) .

  12. Congrats on your 100th post! I have been digi-scrapping for over two years now (designing and selling for 8 months)I would say: Don’t scrap/design when you are feeling uninspired, angry, unmotivated. Sometimes it only take a day and then you are feeling better and finding inspiration everywhere!
    Also back up your bought kits/freebies/scrap pages all the time-at least once every 2 months.
    My biggest tip I could offer anyone when it comes to scrapping is while I am scrapping, I have a book I write down the credits as I use them, so that when it comes to upload the page to the gallery, all my credits are in front of me and I don;t have to go searching through my folders again for them.   20. Hey there girl,

    I miss you over on SBEtc – but I have to admit, their new web page drives me crazy, and I’m actually boycotting it at the moment. :-( Too bad too, because all of the ladies there are an inspiration to me. I get so many ideas and hints, and just chatting with others makes me want to do awesome page designs so that they think I ROCK! Which I don’t (haha) but you DO! Really, though, my baby girl inspires me, every day, as I’m sure Gabe does for you. She sees the world through her open heart and open mind, and everything, even a lone pumpkin seed discovered on our floor this morning, is interesting, and beautiful, and maybe, JUST maybe, even tasty (can you hear me now? “Oh no, Baby Girl! That’s yucky! Ick! Give it to Mommy!”).

  24. One of my favorite things I”ve created so far is an ABC book for my kids. THey love reading it nightly!

    I used Janet Phillip’s ABC scrap templates available at http://www.scrapbookgraphics.com & had then printed and bound (perfect for shutterfly!) I can’t wait to do another themed book for my kids!
