Well, if you haven’t already guessed it, I’m on a new creative team… for one of my all time favorites…..SHABBY PRINCESS!!! YAY!! I can’t tell you how beyond thrilled I am to be working for this incredibly talented (not to mention suuuuuuuper sweet) gal!!!!!! I have been having a blast playing with her GORGEOUS new designs - all released TODAY 
!!!!!!! She is having a great sale at the Shoppe too, so run on over to check it out (she doesn’t have sales often, so you don’t want to miss this)!!!
Here are some of the things I made with the her latest designs:

Here’s a GREAT Stocking-Stuffer Idea!!!
I just LOVE this idea… I mini accordion album you can make that fits perfectly inside an empty Altoids tin! Shabby Princess has some of these pre-made album templates (created by Nicole, using SP designs) available in the shoppe. They are so easy to put together too - the digital part is practically done for you, all you need to do is add your photos (and a little text if you want). Then you print it out and follow the step-by-step instructions (included with the album) to make this sweet little project! I made this one for Chris to keep at work – he’s a proud daddy !! And here’s another neat thing that makes this a great gift idea, the Altoids tin is the PERFECT size box to put a gift card in, so you could slip one in there under your little album, how cool is that?
Tips and Tricks
- I recommend printing out your album pages the night before you assemble the album. That way they will have time to dry before you start handling them.
- I was too impatient to paint the top and bottom parts of the tin separately, so I painted the whole thing at one time and placed it open, and upside down, on top of my Mod Podge bottle to dry (the wide lid fit perfectly inside the tin to keep it from falling off).
- There are lots of other ways to store/display this cute little album, even if you don’t have an Altoids tin on hand. Keep an eye out for some creative ideas soon to be appearing in the Shabby Artist Gallery – I especially love the magnet album idea!

LOL, yes, I was shocked to hear (from some of the other Shabby Artists) that Altoids are not common everywhere! They are just one of those things in America that have been around for such a long time (since the 1800s) and everyone knows about them! Here’s a link to a wiki article about them:

Too bad they are not sold worldwide, I love the tins, they are very cool (even though I don’t really care for the super strong mints they contain)!
Congrats on your CT spot !! I love that little tin gift you made. I am wanting to make one of those and had a question for you. What did u use to put all the photo layouts on? I am so new to doing any hybrid type projects with my digi scrapping lol.

! I think you will enjoy making one of these. It’s fun and simple, and it’s a great first hybrid project. I used regular cardstock that can be found at any scrapbook supply store. When you purchase a tin album kit from theshabbyshoppe.com, you will also receive the step-by-step instructions for the project as well as a template that you can print out onto the cardstock to make the album with – no measuring involved
