New Projects with New Releases

There have been a couple of new releases from my favorite designers recently, so of course that means I have been busy creating!  Lots to see so let’s get right to it .

Vintage Comfort by Heidi Williams of Weeds and Wildflowers at Prima Hybrid

Here is another gorgeous collection by Heidi – it comes in sections or you can buy them as one set for a discounted price. I couldn’t stop making things with this, so I created a little set with it to send to a sweet friend of mine. The card and teabag fit inside the little purse.

Tips and Tricks

• I dotted Crystal Effects on the beaded border to make it look more like real glass.
• To make the purse handle I folded the flower chain ribbon over on itself and glued it together.
• I printed on both sides of double sided matte photo paper to make the purse and card, so they are just as pretty on the inside (not shown).

I had a lot of fun pulling my stamps and ink out to use on these, but you could easily create the same look with digital stamps and ink too .

OK, now THIS is such a cool idea!!! I have not seen this anywhere else! These pre-made pages fit into the badge holders you can buy at office supplies stores. It was so quick and easy to put this together and I can’t wait to give this to my sweetie on Valentines day !!! Here’s mine:

Whenever I make a lunch for my hubby to bring to work, I tuck a little love note in there. Well, I recently found out that he has saved all of those little notes! So I typed all the notes out and included them in this adorable badge album along with some photos .

Shabby Princess has lots of other great products in this release too, you should go check them out! She has everything you will need for your Valentine’s Day gifts and cards!! I LOVE all of the fun ways she has for presenting candy – the wrappers are just as much a gift as the actual candy ! And of course there are more new fonts by Fontologie, including my favorite one so far called P.S. I Love You (as seen on the front of my Badge Album for the word “Love”). It’s so beautiful and I know I will be using it a lot in the future!
