One of my goals for 2008 is to learn more about faithbooking and to start documenting my walk with Christ. I was looking around online for more information and I found out that the Creative Memories website has a TON of great resources about it! I only had time to skim through the pages, but now I am really excited to get started. Click here to see what I’m talking about (and don’t miss all of the other links on the right side and top of the page).
Anyway, the 4×6 cards in this post are my first few faithbooking projects that I hope to incorporate into a scrapbook eventually. I am doing a great Beth Moore Bible study right now, called Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent. As part of the Bible study, we are memorizing Psalm 121. We are asked to write 2 verses of the Psalm out on index cards each week to help us memorize them. So I decided to create mine digitally and print them out so that I can add them to a faithbook page later on. These are the first three cards (the last one is next week). I’m enjoying my first little baby steps into faithbooking and can’t wait to try some more
! I used this kit by SP and CRD to make these cards

Hi Jess!
Just wanted to let you know there is a Christian paper/digital community just for faithbooking and I am currently a designer there!
http://FaithSisters.com
Come and join us, you will love the ladies there!
And your cards look awesome!! Please come over and add them to our gallery when you get a chance
Blessings,
Note from Jess:
Thanks for the compliments Nikki! I had thought that site was a Mormon site, because one of the owners is from an LDS church. Since I am not a Mormon, I hadn’t really explored it. I appreciate you pointing out that there are multiple religions represented there.
Love these, Jess! Off to check out your links.
Have a great week!
I love the idea of your cards! What a great way to really get the Word into your heart. And then it is so beautiful to look at! Thanks for the inspiration.
Lovely idea to digi-scrap the verses.
I was thinking they would make lovely gifts as book marks too – maybe for a sunday school or bible class.
Keep sharing
I’m doing the same Bible study right now. I love it! I would have never thought of scrapbooking about it—what a great idea!
Hey Jess, your cards are beautiful! Have you checked out FaithSisters.com? They have weekly scripture and faith challenges that will really help you start with faithbooking. It’s a great scrapbook community with a common denominator of Jesus Christ.
(P.S. I “met” you through a CT I used to be on for JPapai)
Note from Jess:
!! Yes, I have heard of that site, please see my note to Nikki (above)!
Hi, thanks so much – it’s nice to “see” you again
Yes! Come and visit us at http://www.faithsisters.com and http://www.faithbasedpages.com
Love your gorgous cards!
My husband just got me a devotional called Woman of Joy it’s a study of the Proverbs 31 Woman-from a scrapbookers’ perspective. Check it out at womanofjoy.com it’s pretty neat!
Great cards. I am also doing the same study right now.

I am trying to find 10 Fingerprints of God (it was originally on creativememories website in a section on how to start faithbooking, but when I just went there I couldn’t find anything like it. Can anyone help me out here? the creativememories site is good, but I don’t find the original stuff or pages that were there a month or so ago.
Thanks for anyone’s help
