My First Faithbooking Page!

OK, I mentioned in a recent post that I was planning on exploring faithbooking a little more. I have read some things on different sites and I’m now filled with all kinds of great ideas! In the future I really want to look back on my life and record some of the life changing events that have been key turning points in my spiritual walk, but in the meantime I decided to just start with what I am learning right here and now.  So, I wanted to show you my very first faithbook page (using this kit, by SP)!

 My First Faithbooking Page

As I mentioned before, I am doing this great Beth Moore Bible study right now. Well, as part of the study, you read a Psalm and then later you rewrite the Psalm as a prayer to God in your own words. While I was doing the study the other day it suddenly dawned on me that I could easily translate this exercise into scrapbooking pages – the “journaling” is already written out and it gives such great insight into my spiritual life right now and in the past. I blurred out my rewrite of the Psalm, because it is pretty personal, but let’s just say that my version was less of a statement and more of a request for help to be LIKE the author of that Psalm LOL!

Psalm 121 7 and 8

Also, here is the last of the four index cards I made for my memory verses. I really think the process of making these cards helped me to memorize them. I think I will try that again next time I want to memorize something.

(I used this kit by SP and CRD to make the digital index card)

Oh, and did you notice the inspirational Bible verse I added to the top of the page? I think it’s perfect for faithbooking, don’t you :)?

That’s all I have on faithbooking for today, but I do have some more ideas in the works – so I’ll keep you updated!

What a wonderful concept. I agree that scrapbooking what God is teaching you will help you memorize verses and remember lessons learned. A lovely way to pass on insights, too.
