Journaling reads: Continuing our journey along New England Scenic Byway Route 169, we come to a wonderful little stop called Lapsley Orchard. Just thinking of it warms my heart – I have countless memories of stopping at the orchard’s roadside farm stand every single Sunday on the drive home from church during harvest season. We would load up on apples (Macintosh are my favorite!), maybe get a jug of apple cider (made on site) and of course, my all time favorite – apple butter! During the peak of the fall foliage they have all kinds of special events going on; music, hay rides to the pumpkin patch, and you can always pick your own produce too!

When making a themed book, remember that not EVERY photo has to follow the theme exactly. I really loved the look of this old scale, and since it was at the orchard, I included it in the book.
