Journaling: Continuing along scenic route 169, here is what you can expect to see. There are classic New England countryside vistas in store as you travel through Pomfret. You will pass by the beautiful campus of Pomfret School along the way. The photos at left were taken in the summer, in the fall, the campus is awash with vibrant color as seen in in the photo above.
Tip: To help the text stand out, I created a “vellum” rectangle behind it. I made a selection, right-clicked and chose “layer via copy”. Then, in the layers palette, I chose “select pixels” on that new later, created an empty layer below the new one and filled it with white. Finally, I lowered the opacity of the top layer until I was happy with the “vellum”.
