Postcards are excellent for scrapbooking – always be sure to pick some up wherever you travel, even if you’re visiting somewhere near home that you’re planning to scrapbooking about!

Ideas for Scrapbooking with Postcards:
- Postcards with maps are great for showing each spot you visited in an area. Mark the places with stickers or a pen.
- Postcards can sometimes capture a more ideal image of the place you visited – like an aerial view, for example.
- Most postcards have some extra information about the image on the reverse side, which you could use in your scrapbook journaling.
- If photography is not allowed at an event or location, you can often buy postcards with images to remind you of your visit.
- Sometimes, I take a photos of the messages I write on the backs of postcards I send home to friends and family. These are a fun and unique way to add journaling to my travel scrapbooks!
- If you want to have access to both sides of a postcard in your scrapbook, consider placing it in a pocket, or creating a mini page for it using a clear page protector.
I would love to hear how you’ve used postcards in your own scrapbooking – if you have an idea, please share it in the comments section
