September Bella Scraps Magazine!

Wow, I love the latest issue of Bella Scraps! I can’t believe how much scrappy goodness can be crammed into just 97 pages! This issue is filled with gorgeous layouts, tons of articles and tutorials and there were lots of extra downloads in there too, in addition to the two free featured designer kits :). I especially {heart} the letter press stamps by Bren Boone! Here’s the magazine preview (click to purchase):

I am also sooooo super excited to announce that Holley has invited me to be a regular contibuter!! My first article for Bella Scraps appeared in this issue (on pages 52 & 53) – woohoo :)!! Also, I just wanted to point out that I somehow forgot to give Holley the layout credits for the images that go with the article. So here they are: Photo Books by Shutterfly; Ultimate baby Album – Prince (piece-a-cake page) and elements from Our Little Prince by Shabby Princess (first image); storyboard (slightly modified) by Lanne and Cherrywood Farm paper by Shabby Miss Jenn (second image).

Here’s a page I made with Ben Boone’s downloads from this issue:

I love these photos of Gabe with his Grandma (“Nina”), they had so much fun exploring together this summer :)! Hope you’re having a great week :).

Heart Shaped Card Tutorial at The Daily Scrapper

I just wanted to let you know about two new publications I have out this week :). Firstly, the latest issue of Bella Scraps magazine came out, and I have a digital layout in there! If you already know how much I love this online magazine, you know how happy this news made me (if you don’t know how much I love it, check out the review I wrote right here). This issue is even more beautiful and inspiring - they just keep getting better and better :)!

I also wrote a tutorial for how to make a heart shaped card for the hybrid section of The Daily Scrapper, click here to see it. I’m sooooo excited about this super cool new online newspaper, The Daily Scrapper! Have you checked it out yet? It’s full of great ideas, you don’t want to miss it :)! This is only the 4th issue, if you have missed the previous ones you can see them all in the archives.

Here is a sneak peek of the card I made for the tutorial, actually it’s a lot like the one in this post :).

Hope you enjoy your weekend :)!!!

Beautiful Bella Scraps Magazine!

LOOK how pretty!!!

Bella Scraps Magazine

OK, I had mentioned this beautiful new magazine, Bella Scraps, a few times last month – but I have been really wanting to highlight it more thoroughly because I want to make sure that none of you are missing out :). I have been poring over the Feb issue, and I am filled with ideas and inspiration! Just the look of the magazine alone is inspiring – it’s bright, cheery and easy to read. Holley does such a fantastic job putting this all together.  And this issue is PACKED!! It is a full 20 pages longer than the first issue, and it comes with TWO free kits (you can see the pages I made with the free kits below). In addition to the 60+ projects and pages to look at, there are so many useful tips and techniques in there for photography, digital scrapbooking, hybrid scrapbooking etc. I love the simple step-by-step tutorials and the challenges to get your creative juices flowing. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you should – it’s lovely!
