Bella Scraps Magazine

There is a brand new online scrapbooking magazine coming out this Tuesday, January 15th, called Bella Scraps! I’m looking forward to seeing the first issue for several reasons: 1) As you know, I love scrapbooking inspiration, and I think Bella Scraps will be packed with it! 2) I *believe* there will be an article in this magazine about that secret I have been dying to share with you… 3) I’m pretty sure I will be featured in this issue too .

Cool, huh?  I’m soooooo happy the Weeds and Wildflowers Site CT made all these great quick pages with the fabulous Wildflower Holiday Collection!! I had planned on making a quick album with it to sell in the store, but I never had time. Now you can get a whole album full of quick pages, AND they’re FREE!! Each freebie quick page is only up for one day, so remember to keep checking back at The Meadow so you don’t miss out on any of the goodies!! Awesome Contest!

I reeeeeeeeally want a Canon EOS 40D Digital SLR camera!!! I LOVE Canon. My parents gave me a Canon Sure Shot point and shoot film camera in 2000, then my husband got me a Canon PowerShot digital point and shoot in 2004, which I broke, so we upgraded to the PowerShot A85, which is what I still have right now. Now, don’t get me wrong, it is a nice camera. But it only has 4 mega pixels, and now that Gabe is a toddler, he’s moving around pretty fast and I’m finding it very difficult to get good photos of him with the camera I have right now. The Canon EOS 40D Digital SLR would change all that!!! I can only imagine the wonderful photos that would grace my scrapbook pages if I had an awesome camera like that. I might even get some shots worthy of framing in all my vacant photo frames waiting to be hung on my bare walls ! Oh I want that camera soooooo bad!!!

Anyway, that’s why I was so excited to find out about this contest. For each day I enter a digital scrapbook page into the contest, using products from pcLayers.com, I get another “ticket” in the raffle to win the camera. I love learning about scrapbooking, and I’m discovering new things all the time. My goal here at Scrapbook Ideas has been to share what I learn with the the general public, it’s my way of giving back to a community that has given me so much .
